Doing thus located her in the equivalent school of female singer-songwriters when Tori Amos and Sarah McLachlan. Her 2nd studio album was Righteous Love, an extended-delayed commercial failure; it fell off a stock and index charts quickly.

Osborne was featured in the 2002 film Standing in the Shadows of Motown and toured with legendary Motown sidemen The Funk Brothers. She & her band accompanied a Dixie Chicks for a national tour in the summertime of 2003, during which period she too joined seasoned San Francisco jam-rockers A Dead (understand Grateful Dead) as a vocalist, & freed her third album, coroneted How else Sweet These are, the collection of classic rock and soul covers.
